Hello, I am a disabled photographer based in Toronto, Ontario, living with LGMD2B, a subtype of Muscular Dystrophy. This condition causes my muscles to deteriorate over time, with no known treatment or cure. Despite these challenges, I embarked on my photography journey in 2019, initially focusing on headshots and portraits. However, during the second year of the pandemic, I ventured into street photography, a decision that has proven to be one of the most rewarding choices I have made. Exploring street photography has not only allowed me to expand my creative horizons but has also enabled me to refine and apply my unique style to my portrait work. Natural lighting and low-light photography are predominant features in my portfolio, capturing moments in their most authentic form. I take pleasure in enhancing my images with vibrant colours during post-production, all while maintaining a natural and timeless aesthetic. Through my photography, I strive to showcase the beauty and diversity of the world around us, capturing moments that evoke emotion and tell a story. Despite the challenges I face, my passion for photography remains unwavering, driving me to create meaningful and impactful visual art. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my journey as a photographer.
